What's included in an astrological consultation?

Each session includes a complete interpretation of your natal chart. I'm really not satisfied with looking at only what catches my eye. When I had my chart done for the first time, I was curious about every planet and every point. It's important to know going in what it is that you wish to accomplish. In an average meeting, you will receive a color copy of your natal chart and the interpretation on CD or cassette. The entire session runs 60 to 90 minutes. I try and cover every significant planet and point, so that you have a complete picture. I always give your questions the highest priority.

How Do Your Services Differ From Other Astrologers?

One has to be careful when ordering astrological services. Some companies only print out computer text data and mail it to you in a package. There's no consultation and no personal questions answered. More often than not, the text contains contradictions that tend to confuse instead of clarify. Professional astrologers avoid the "canned" text and maintain live consultations.

My services differ in that I use my background in psychology to solve your most pressing questions. Since everyone's chart is unique, I start each session from scratch. This gives you an unique interpretation that no one else will have. I also like to take a lot of time researching a chart. This way, every chart examined is the way I would want mine done : thoroughly and efficiently.

What Techniques Do You Use?

As my schedule permits, I always discuss various techniques with other astrologers. No one has all the answers, so I tend to spend a lot of time reading and studying. Being involved in various organizations, I favor the ethics and teaching methods of NCGR. (For more information about this organization and others, click on the Links menu.) Currently, I'm using two types of progressions alongside the natal chart. I also look at a cartography map for your ideal location, and a graph of planetary cycles ranging from six months into the future to 30 years. I tend to use techniques borrowed from the ancient Greeks (traditional rulers and lots) mixed with more 20th Century work, such as cosmobiology. I openly recommend to students texts by Noel Tyl, Robert Hand, Tracy Marks, and Reinhold Ebertin - just to name a few.

How Accurate Are You, and What's Your Experience?

As one of the youngest psychics in Cincinnati, I began studying astrology in 1980. This started me on a quest to discover ways to increase the accuracy of the impressions I received. After graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in psychology (1986), I felt I had found more consistently accurate results through astrology. Since 1992, I've been on radio in Cincinnati, Houston, Phoenix and Boston and local television promoting the benefits of learning about the cycles of timing that astrology provides.

In 1995, my work was discovered by People Magazine. I then began working as their exclusive astrologer for their CompuServe Forum. I began my column, Star Power, the following year. Once People Magazine started their presence on the World Wide Web, the popularity of the column grew. I met people from Vancouver to London who agreed that astrology can benefit everyone. I've always believed that you need more than just positive thinking. Self-awareness and faith have to be applied too, in order to find fulfillment.

Since 2002, I moved back to my home town of Cincinnati in order to start a computer business devoted to helping people empower themselves. Gold Medal Computers was started in 2002 in order to help people overcome the "bill of goods" being sold at large. My business partner was overcome by ill health in 2007 and decided to close the business. "This was a cycle I knew would only last so long." You can still ask computer questions or get your PC repaired anytime by just asking. Gold Medal computers and I enjoyed a perfect rating with the Better Business Bureau through the entire five years of business.

Through continued research using AstroDataBank, I traveled to Denver in 2008 to speak at the United Astrology Congress, a world astrology conference that drew people from every continent. "Recognizing and Addressing Alcoholism" was born, along with meeting new friends from the Tucson area. Recognizing the downturn in he economy for later that year, I decided to 'walk the walk' and live my chart as it foretold of great achievements by moving to Arizona. October, 2008 started a new journey for me - where truly, ALL of us never stop learning!! Today, my home is in the north central part of Tucson, with regular trips to Phoenix and Sedona. I'm also a regular on Dr. Monique Chapman's Walking With Spirit Radio Show heard coast to coast and around the globe on the Achieve Radio Network.

You are always encouraged to send e-mail. If your question involves more research, I will let you know up front what the charge will be (usually no more than 30% of the original cost). If you simply need clarification from a previous session, I'll do my best to answer you without a fee.
